Blackwood collaborates closely with customers to create site plans that maximize yard footprint, ensuring optimal storage and easy material access by defining key access points, drive lanes, and staging areas. To prepare each site, we deliver comprehensive land development services, including topsoil removal, drainage control, compaction, grading, and asphalt or concrete surface installations, readying the space for efficient operations. For site security, Blackwood establishes secure yet accessible environments, installing fencing, automatic gates, and security cameras to safeguard the premises. To enhance material accessibility, we provide and install safety racks for pole storage, bin blocks, and essential signage, while also managing all inbound inventory deliveries to maintain streamlined processes. On the outbound side, Blackwood handles the delivery of products—including wood, steel, and concrete poles—using self-unloading trucks dispatched by our team with clear communication, and we manage all trucking invoicing in-house. Additionally, we support material tracking by conducting cycle counts at set intervals and updating inbound/outbound inventories, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
